This document presents the design of linear and non-linear controllers for the control of bioreactors. Two bioreactors are considered and a comparison between four different schemes of nonlinear PID controllers is proposed to control the product concentration in one bioreactor and the temperature in other one. Both tracking and disturbances rejection tests are carried out on the designed controllers and their behavior is evaluated through performance indexes.
