In this study, we fabricate and demonstrate a high performance composite filter for lensless fluorescence imaging. The device is composed of interference and absorption filters and a fiber optic plate. It exhibits a high excitation rejection performance and band pass characteristics. In addition, its application to the fluorescence imaging of a green fluorescent protein introduced in the brain slice of a mouse is demonstrated.
