Abstract

This paper describes a cell phone imaging algorithm that quantifies colorimetric tests at the point-of-care. The algorithm transforms RGB images to HSV space and processes the saturation channel to obtain output values. The algorithm was tested on a dilution curve for anti-p24 antibody HRP conjugate concentrations in a 96 well plate. When compared with existing methods, the HSV analysis showed improved resolution and repeatability.
