Abstract

Cardiac diseases are taking away lives from over a half million US people each year. Standard 12-lead ECG have been widely used in clinics/hospitals, but they are still not readily available for daily usage, due to inconvenience and large signal quality degradation. For the first time, a novel ECG monitor is proposed for highly convenient and motion-tolerant ECG tracking. A deep learning framework based on the long short-term memory is developed to reconstruct high quality 12-lead ECG leads only from 3 noisy ECG leads. The proposed monitor has been validated on patient ECG data and shown promising effectiveness.
