Abstract

Respirix has developed the Cardiospire, a novel platform using hardware and software to non-invasively monitor and manage cardiopulmonary health. One of our key methods involves the acquisition of a pressure wave carried through breath, called a cardiogenic oscillation, using our device, and using computational methods to derive hemodynamic parameters from this signal. In several clinical and preclinical studies, Respirix has demonstrated that the Cardiospire has extraordinary potential to detect changes in stroke volume and pulmonary artery pressures through breaths.
