This paper presents the design, analysis and comparison of the simulation of three unconventional control techniques (Fuzzy Control, Control by neural networks and Control by state-feedback) to regulate the power of a wind turbine. For the development of these control techniques, it is necessary to first know the operation of the wind turbine, so first the mathematical model of this is presented. Subsequently, the design of the controls was made by performing various simulations with short-time wind profiles (60 seconds) and with various reference powers to establish which designed control offers the best performance for the plant.
