Abstract

This contribution is a part of personalisation health aid for a handicapped person project. Long-term use of an ordinary axillary crutch might cause serious health problems to a person with special needs. The aim is to create such crutch that would be of a minor problem to this person. Therefore, it is required to know forces which are present in the spot where the crutch and person touch so the impact on person's body would be without any negative effects. Therefore, based on anatomical cast and anthropometric meas-urements, testing model of axillary crutch was prepared. This testing focuses on pressure load research with help of research aid ergoGLOVE with the associated research software ergoPAKTM. Static armrest testing, static and dynamic handle testing has been carried out for the original and testing model of axil-lary crutch. The main result of the research is the model of axillary crutch for special needs of a handi-capped person. Copy-right © 2019 IFAC
