Abstract

A simplified nonlinear mathematical tire model has been created. The model takes into account the radial and torsional stiffness of the tire, as well as the effect of radial deformation on torsional rigidity and, conversely, the effect of torsional deformation on radial rigidity.The results will be used to study the conditions for the occurrence of undesirable oscillations of vehicle wheels.
