Abstract

Contralaterally-controlled functional electrical stimulation (CCFES) was developed to assist hand opening during task practice for individuals with hemiplegia. We demonstrated the ability of children with hemiplegia to self-administer CCFES integrated with hand therapy video games at home during a six-week intervention.
