Abstract

This paper discusses attention of human cognitive function. Previously, we used the paced auditory serial addition test (PASAT) to investigate auditory attention and paced visual serial addition test (PVSAT) by measuring hemodynamics in the prefrontal cortex. Then, we investigate the dynamics of inner brain activity by monitoring event-related potentials (ERP) and hemodynamics (ERH) that are associated with visual attention using electroencephalography (EEG) and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS).
