We evaluated electroencephalogram (EEG) data on childhood epileptic seizures. The wavelet-based EEG analysis was able to characterize and predict the abnormal brain state immediately before the seizures; in special, the increased α and β powers of EEG were related with the following abnormalities. The wavelet-based EEG analysis has a possibility to be applied to the prediction system of seizures to prevent accidents beforehand.
