We examined characteristics of three different front-end voltage followers with a view to application to wearable noncontact electrocardiogram measurement. Negative capacitance circuit incorporated in the follower worked on regaining attenuated amplitude caused by high-impedance film coating on the electrode. Whereas, bootstrapping circuit in the follower did not contribute for shortening baseline restoration time after disturbance. Too large settings for resistance and capacitance were considered to be the cause.
