The following work investigates the use of ambulatory voice data to classify subjects with a common voice disorder diagnosis by using features based on the glottal airflow waveform. A Kalman filter is used to determine the time-varying uncertainty of the glottal airflow waveform that will aid in improving the classification of these disorders in ambulatory, real-world settings.
