Digital Mammography DREAM Challenge: The Core of Top Performing Methods

Abstract

The Digital Mammography DREAM (Dialogue for Reverse Engineering Assessment and Methods) offered access to an unprecedented amount of curated data. Teams around the globe had the opportunity to tackle the computational diagnosis of screening mammography, with the vision of changing the workflow for radiologists of the future. This work summarizes the main characteristics of the top performing methods in the competition phase of the challenge.
