Abstract

One of the most significant challenges in treatment of congenital talipes equinovarus (clubfoot deformity) is low patient compliance, especially in low-resource communities and areas where stigma toward disabilities is high. To address this challenge, we have developed an innovative, low-cost, 3D-printable unilateral brace with high patient comfort and low visibility: the Cunningham Dynamic Torsion Knee Ankle Foot Orthotic (C-DTKAFO).
