Session: Next Generation Intravascular Imaging – II

Abstract

In this communication we report the design and testing of a intravascular catheter system able to simultaneously acquire co-registered structural and biochemical images of coronaries in vivo without the need of exogenous contrast agents. The system combines fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIm) and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) capabilities into a 3.7 Fr rotational catheter.
