Abstract

A multicell multiuser massive multiple-input
multiple-output (MIMO) system is considered. A finite dimensions
analysis of blind pilot decontamination is conducted. We
obtain the exact cumulative density functions of the minimum
and the maximum eigenvalue of the desired signal and the
interference, respectively. With the help of these functions a
probabilistic threshold for the interference-to-signal power ratio
is calculated which guarantees the separation of the eigenvalue
bulks of interference and desired signal with high probability.
