Abstract

The aim of this study is to present a new method for three-dimensional reconstruction of coronary bifurcations using Coronary Angiography and Optical Coherence Tomography imaging. The result of the 3D reconstructed geometry in combination with the accurate estimation of the Wall Shear Stress describes the area of the increased plaque during the blood flow around the bifurcation of the vessel.
