Abstract

IPAL research work focus on Digital health and Inclusive smart spaces to enhance the quality of life of ageing people. While the main motivation and focus of our project lies in the building of an integrated knowledge exchange framework, the software infrastructure aims at solving the general problem of linking big data analytics with the internet of services in a smart city context, particularly within the limitations of constrained space. To provide useful services to urban stakeholders, it is crucial to enhance the data gathered from various sources, and derives value and insightful knowledge from it in order to create added value. The multi-disciplinary approach adopted within our research team is key differentiator in our scientific approach that combines the complementary thrusts for greater results.
