Abstract

A method for the functionalization of microfluidic channels by using a bio-probe immobilized substrate interface is reported. Inserts are designed to be embedded within a microfluidic chip, which enables its interaction with the fluid that flows through a micro-channel. The idea is validated by generating a concentration curve through epi-fluorescent imaging of a functionalized area after passing varying concentrations of an analyte solution.
