Session: Modeling and Simulation in Clinical Trials and Drug Development

Abstract

Frequent objective feedback forms a foundation for successful behavior modification programs. Historically, body weight regulation programs relied on self-monitoring via food logs and self-weighing. Today new technologies that incorporate expected weight change nonograms coupled body weights measured through e-scales offers a novel method to provide feedback while reducing patient and clinician burden.
